Psychiatric Assessments

Structured. Documented. Actionable.

A diagnosis is not a label — it is a coordinate. Before anything can be built, you need to know where you are starting from. That is what a clinical assessment gives you: a precise map, not a guess.

A note on assessment instruments

The psychometric tools used in your assessment are not predetermined. They are selected based on what you bring to the session — your history, your presentation, and what you are trying to understand. We use validated, internationally recognised instruments. The combination is built around your specific case, not a fixed protocol applied to everyone.

After the assessment

What clarity actually feels like.

These are not endorsements. They are documented observations from people who completed an assessment and chose to share what changed.

Before you book

Questions with direct answers.

Specific clinical questions are answered at the Intro Call. These are the practical ones most people have before they get there.

Assessments are conducted in person. Clinical interviews, structured observation, and psychometric testing all produce more reliable data in a face-to-face setting. For clients outside the UK or EU, we can discuss adapted formats at the Intro Call.

No. You can book a Mentallect assessment directly — no GP referral, no waiting list. You can share the report with your GP afterwards if you choose to.

Duration and depth. Standard (60–75 min) covers the most common presentations — PTSD, anxiety, depression. Extended (90–120 min) adds differential diagnosis and a broader psychometric battery for complex or overlapping conditions.

The results are yours. The report is delivered directly to you through a secure encrypted portal. No one else sees it unless you choose to share it — with a GP, employer, insurer, or another clinician.

Yes, of course. The assessment is a standalone service. Many clients use it for clarity, a second opinion, or to share with another provider. There is no obligation to continue with Mentallect.

Some presentations genuinely sit at clinical thresholds — that is not an error, it is a finding. The report documents this clearly and recommends next steps, which may include a follow-up assessment or monitoring.

All data is stored on GDPR-compliant EU servers with end-to-end encryption. Your clinical records are never shared without your explicit consent. You can request deletion at any time under GDPR Article 17.

Clinical records are retained for a minimum of 7 years in line with professional standards. You can download your report at any time, transfer it to another provider, or request full deletion after the retention period.

Not sure where to start?

The Intro Call is a structured 60-minute clinical conversation about your situation. We listen, ask the right questions, and recommend which assessment — if any — makes sense. The €49 fee is credited in full if you proceed.

Diagnostics is where clarity begins. The map is not the territory — but you need the map.

You have read the types, the process, the policies. What remains is a single decision.

Intro Call fee credited in full toward any assessment. No referral required. No obligation to continue.
